Kanye West Launches Faith-Based Presidential Write-In Campaign To Sabotage Biden | Michael Stone

Kanye West calls for write-in campaign in his first 2020 ad | TheHill
"We as a people will revive our nation's commitment to faith," the "Yeezus" rapper said in the ad released Monday.

"By turning to faith, we will be the kind of nation, the kind of people, God intends us to be," West says in front of an image of a waving American flag.

A message at the end of the ad urges voters to "write in Kanye West."
That sort of message may appeal to the Religious Right, but not to most others, I'm sure.
In an interview in August, West said he was "not denying" that his campaign, whose state-level ballot efforts have been linked to GOP operatives, is seeking to hurt the candidacy of Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden.
I wouldn't be surprised. Republicans are very willing to fight dirty, and that means supporting spoiler candidates like Greens to attract votes from Democrats. It looks like they are doing this with KW also.

Earlier this year, West joined prominent anti-gay, conservative Christian hate preachers as a featured headliner at “Awaken 2020” a prayer rally held in Arizona.

Kanye’s transformation from rap superstar to a hateful conservative Christian has been a disappointing and bizarre spectacle. Last October West made the ridiculous claim that God gave him a $68 million tax refund because he is now “in service to Christ.”

Previously West made headlines after defending Trump and white supremacy.
In an interview with TMZ, he stated
When you hear about slavery for 400 years – for 400 years? That sounds like a choice!

Like, you was there for 400 years and it’s all of y’all? It’s like we’re mentally in prison. I like the word ‘prison’ because slavery goes too direct to the idea of blacks. It’s like slavery, Holocaust. Holocaust, Jews. Slavery is blacks. So, prison is something that unites us as one race. Blacks and whites being one race. We’re the human race.
It's actually 250 years followed by 150 years of freedom, but it was still a long time. Being enslaved wasn't the choice of the slaves, and they sometimes rebelled. The Five Greatest Slave Rebellions in the United States | African American History Blog | The African Americans: Many Rivers to Cross lists:
1. Stono Rebellion, 1739
2. The New York City Conspiracy of 1741
3. Gabriel’s Conspiracy, 1800
4. German Coast Uprising, 1811
5. Nat Turner’s Rebellion, 1831
