• The letter, reportedly written by current Supreme Court hopeful Brett Kavanaugh in 1983, described himself and his classmates as "loud, obnoxious drunks with prolific pukers among us," The New York Times reported Tuesday.
• The Times' report comes during an increasingly tense week on Capitol Hill, as Kavanaugh's advancement toward a confirmation in Congress has been held up pending an FBI probe into allegations of past sexual misconduct against him.
• It was not clear if the postscript was meant in jest.

I'd call hitting someone over the head with a beer bottle because he's not a UB40 singer, more than just "obnoxious."

I'd call hitting someone over the head with a beer bottle because he's not a UB40 singer, more than just "obnoxious."

I'd also call assaulting and/or drugging and raping women to be a little beyond "obnoxious", too...
