RICHMOND, VA -- A large group of well armed men who were demonstrating their support of the second amendment in Richmond, Virginia expressed some surprise over how their weapons seemed to make some people nervous.
"The second amendment isn't just a right, it is a way of life," noted Chuck Williams who was armed with a gun that seemed large enough to be able to spray enough bullets to stop a herd of charging rhinos. "People that are uncomfortable seeing this clearly don't respect our rights."
"People want to say this weapon looks scary," stated Todd Askerman while holding up what looked like a weapon that could fire 30 bullets in 15 or 20 seconds. "But it isn't scary if a good man is carrying it. And we are good men."
Amber Dotson who works near where the demonstration was being held noted "It is difficult to tell the difference between an armed militia from an angry armed mob. I mean, once the bullets are flying, it is a bit easier to tell."
The demonstration took place and ended without any violence taking place, which left the local police department happy. "I'm always happy whenever a demonstration that has more guns than people ends peacefully," noted Sergeant Thomas Tillis.
