Most pointless charity?

It is often said that much of the charitable donations to Africa is wasted because it never reaches its intended recipients. But today I came across a charity which seems a waste of time even if the donations do reach their intended recipients.

It was on a list of causes supported by the relatively famous chef Yotan Ottolenghi
