Evan Mobley who had been playing like a rookie has really found his game this year. The seven footer is asserting himself more in the paint, driving to the basket (fun to watch) and shooting the occasional three. Darius Garland is more consistent this year and isn't hanging onto the ball, dribbling into traffic. And another surprise is a point guard coming off the bench, Ty Jerome who is really producing for the amount of time he gets on the floor. Everyone else is playing as well as they ever have. The bench is deep allowing Kenny Atkinson to give the starters more time to rest. Already, five games they've scored over 130 points. If the Cavs have a problem to work on it is third quarter doldrums.
That game with Golden State was something else. You would hardly know Stephen Curry was out there. Golden State's top ranked defense gets 83 points put on them in the first half. Beautiful.
I thought LeBron and the Lakers coming back here would make a good showing but the most exciting thing in that game was LBJ Jr. getting his first NBA basket. It was nice the crowd cheered and chanted Bronny. Clevelanders are all class.
November 19th we go to Boston. I hope everyone on both teams is available to play.
