Hello,
I was reading about the American Revolution and misplaced a title to a small phamplet sized book I was reading at Archive.org. I cannot remember the title or the author, but it was written before 1920 and made the claim George Washington joined the revolution to avoid possible trial for land fraud and that many of the merchants who took the side of the revolution did so because they were basically pirates.
Have any of you ever read this work and perhaps can remember the name and author of the work? I am a bit embarrassed but would like to finish reading it.
ETA: It was not about the revolution itself but more about the forming of the constitution. Any help would be appreciated.
