Gronkowski is one of the best tight ends ever in the game. It helps he is roughly half the size of a Ford Expedition. His performance with the Patriots was amazing and as a Pats fan, I'm glad for his efforts, talents, and performance... and hope he retires with all of his limbs intact. But all of his accolades on the field, man he does not come across as even marginally living. It is doubtful he could pass a Turing test.
He recently set a record for the longest football catch ever, 600-ft. That sounds a bit interesting, but then you see, it was dropped from 600-ft in the air.
In fact, I can't find any reference in articles about the record regarding whose "record" was broken. Now I know that Guinness has made it a business to oversee some events to declare records regarding stuff that wasn't anything people actually did before. So it could be one of those things. One thing I would be curious about would be the accuracy on the height. Is that 600 +- 50 feet?

Now, I'll say, catching a football while falling to the Earth at an altitude of 600-ft would be impressive, seeing there wouldn't be all too much time left to parachute! (honestly, I have no idea what that limit is). But to catch a football that was dropped from 600-feet in the air... that doesn't seem like a thing that should even have a record attached to it.article said:The Tampa Bay Buccaneer caught an American football dropped from a helicopter hovering 600 feet in the air, breaking the record for the highest altitude catch.
