Paranoid(?) Europeans think that minorities will be put in charge of government jobs like Europe did with colonies

If you look at how the British especially leveraged a smaller ethnic group to rule over a much larger one such as in India - this was a very sensible and efficient way to force multiply the even smaller amount of Brits that were in India.

So they are seeing that having police that are from the new or second generation immigrants as the same. This is a massive stretch in my opinion and this is a case where the slippery slope is truly important. It is not like these European governments will have a 90%+ non-native police force or or other government agency.

If the police force of a country is roughly mirrored by its ethnic makeup then other things will have to happen to oppress the native ethnic citizens. As it stands the only time the native majority faces oppression is when they say to shut off the stream of immigrants.

I guess this paranoia probably goes way back to how chimpanzee troops will have raids on neighbors every couple years and kill a few chimps. Truly brutal shit. But if it happens like clockwork for chimps then it really isn't paranoia for them.

We're not very different to Chimps today since our wars are territorial and about control of resources. The only difference is except we have the technology to kill in greater numbers and given our ability to speak, we have the 'intellect' to rationalize our actions. However our spoken words are sometimes not much different in meaning than grunts, hoots and shrieks.

The main problem with mass migration more to do with a lack of resources to meet expanding numbers who are entering Europe in unprecedented numbers. This means building new homes, healthcare facilities, transportation and education facilities which we find difficult to keep up with. Construction creates new jobs but in Europe we don't always have the funds available without borrowing (again).
