The net is now awash in pop up ads on most sites. Many sites now complain if you use an ad blocker and many sites still have pop up ads even with a blocker enabled.
My new hobby is to close these ads without looking at them. Hit the X before it can even fully open up. If I can close down a pop up without being able to say what it was and what it was advertising, I win that round. It's almost like a computer game, say Doom. I am sure the novelty will soon wear off but for awhile it makes me happier surfing the net, and isn't that what net surfing is all about?
