Pope Benedict blames RCC perophilia on sexual revolution

Apparently pedophilia by priests stems from the sexual revolution which supposedly made pedophilia socially acceptable and the way kids dress. I am no psychologist but the RCC elite is a collective mental illness. This pope is a sick puppy.

Francis, who two months ago held a landmark summit meeting on the crisis with church leaders from around the world, has struggled to find his voice on sex abuse, though he promised “concrete and effective measures” to resolve it. Those are yet to come.

Well thank goodness there was never any child sex abuse in the church prior to the 60's! And the priests who were raised and taught in the church prior to that would never have inappropriately touched an altar boy!

I mean, it's not like any Catholics I grew up with during that time had long-standing jokes about priests and little boys. No, all that started very recently.

Joseph McCabe was an Irish priest who lost his faith and became an atheist. He wrote a lot about atheism and religion and had his own magazine for some years. He wrote about a scandal that developed in Ireland in the 1920s about sexual abuse of minors by Irish priests.

Dumb. The sexual proclivities of priests have always been a problem. John Knox complained about the pope not having the common decency to be discreet about his banging of hookers. Wrote a book about it after visiting the pope. It's been a common practice that any gay son you have join the clergy all the way back to the early church. The bastard children of priests was always an embarrassing problem they needed to deal with. It's always been the worst kept secret.

It's such common knowledge he must have known about it, which means he's nothing but a dirty little liar, liar liar pants on fire.

Thing is, there's this obscure reference book that Catholics are supposed to be familiar with..
In it, there's a further obscure direction:

27 “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’

Seems to me that EVEN IF society has accepted pedophilia, and dresses the kids like little prostitutes, any effect they had on the priests was still the priests' problem. The Books does not say that looking at a woman with lust is the woman's fault. It's your lust, your fault. If you can't be trusted to walk around in mixed company without sinning, rip out the eye that's your conduit to sin.

If kids' fashions trend towards microsluts, and you see a kid dressed with a come-hither air, and you get a boner, and YOU believe that this boner is a sin, it's on YOU to cut that boner off. Or stab yourself in the eye.

But if you've taken the vows, you're not supposed to be using the boner, anyway, so that's probably the easier cut.
