This is exactly why the rest of us need to unite behind whoever becomes the Democratic nominee. Any of them will move the country in a better direction while protecting the social programs that so many Americans depend on for their survival. I'm not just talking about SS and Medicare. I'm talking about TANF, SNAP, M'caid, subsidized housing, etc. No one currently running will be able to accomplish many of his or her goals because no president ever does. But any of the Democrats running will help bring some positive changes.
I don't want anyone to be hurt by Trump, not even the ignorant people that were drawn up into his cult. I just wish there was a way to get them to turn off the Fox noise and realize that they are being manipulated. I wish the greedy, wealthy Trump supporters like my brother in law, would grow a conscience. I'm just not hopeful that will happen.
