Sometimes it is nice to have a throwaway e-mail account that is easy to set up. No need for cellphone number, real name and address et al.
For example some software downloads are free but they want your name, address, company name etc. So I setup an account for just this sort of stuff. It's free and all e-mail to your account is encrypted.
This e-mail system was set up in Switzerland by some CERN scientists. It was set up to be a secure, no bullshit system. It was just opened up to the general public.
On problem is it does not gracefully deal with heavy HTML crap, but for more simple stuff it works. I like it, thought I'd pass this on to anybody else who needs something like this.
