If you are concerned because a post of yours disappeared, it is likely one of the following issues with their respective solutions.
- It contained a violation of the TOU and it was reported and is under review by the staff. It was obvious enough that it was temporarily hidden while the moderator discussion takes place and action is decided upon. You might receive a warning or time out, or a request to fix it, depending on the outcome. Or, if it is deemed no problem after review, it might be restored. This can take a few days sometimes.
- It contained absolutely nothing related to the topic or contributing to discussion and is a derail, and may have also violated the goading TOU. It was deleted. If you do this a lot, you will receive a warning or a time out.
- It was a “blind link”; a link to some other site with no commentary from you about what it is and what part of it you feel addresses the topic.
- It contained a quote of something in #1-3 above, and continued them, and was removed as a “consistency edit”
- If you are absolutely sure it is none of the above, it might be a software glitch.
