ATLANTA, GA -- The Red Cross announced it was sending staff to Georgia to manage the upcoming run-off Senate election that'll likely take place the first week of December. After barely managing through the highly contested State Governor and US Senate campaigns, the state, exhausted is on the verge of collapse knowing that they must endure one more month of ads on television, radio, and online streaming.

"They need to know we are there for them," noted Red Cross spokesperson Amber Burnsome. "There will be an end to this, we promise."

The runoff is a result of antiquated Jim Crow era laws designed to help ensure a black person wouldn't win an election for higher office. When the Governor was asked whether he would consider trying to remove the 50%+1 law from the books and allow the winner via plurality to win an election, he noted "While it is a sad tragedy that my fellow Georgians must endure one more wretched month of this mid-term election, we don't think it makes sense to modify our election laws at this time."

President Biden declared flags to be flown at half-mast as a gesture to the people of Georgia. In a statement to the press, he noted "Democrat or Republican, we all suffer when the election season just won't end."

Ukrainian President Zelensky released a recorded video on YouTube addressed to the people of Georgia. In his message he noted, "The Ukrainians understand your plight. Be strong."

And they get to choose between two black people. Although one may as well be white.
...or a sofa. Christ, he is probably thinking he'll win the runoff by beating Warnock in a 100 yard dash. Hmmm....
