Entertainment Weekly's current issue has a long feature called Hollywood's Greatest Untold Stories, and one of those stories is about plot threads that the Seinfeld writers never got to use. Two of the writers were interviewed for the piece, and they revealed 5 unused plots:
1) Jerry tangles with a female comic whose speech pattern is that of a 'prompter': she makes a cryptic comment that baits the listener into asking for the answer. Jerry tires of this game and ignores her when she's about to tell him some personally important information about his next gig. Then he offends his employer and loses the job. The prompter tells him, 'I tried to tell you!'
2) The Soup Nazi episode would have ended with him leaving NYC and shown in the teaser end scene in a boat in South America, joining up with the actual escaped Nazi community.
3) The group would have gone to Mexico but found themselves in an identical Seinfeld world: Kramer living across the hall from Jerry in the hotel, a Mexican diner where they would hang out, etc.
4) Kramer would start a business acquiring morgue-grade skeletons and cleaning them up for resale to medical schools. He would use Jerry's dishwasher to clean the bones.
5) Frank Costanza would get medical marijuana for his cataracts. (This has me fantasizing about Estelle's share of the plot.)

I wish there more of these -- this is the only thing I missed from the complete series DVDs.
