A couple people get injured in a knife attack by a muslim and the world is coming to an end.
Also killed with knives. Also raped and drowned. Also killed by being mowed down by a truck at Christmas. Also shot up with automatic weapons or blown up with bombs. Also decapitated. Far more Europeans were killed by migrants and other Muslims than Muslims have been killed in right-wing reprisal attacks. But I already know which of them you (and the media) think is a problem and which you think is not.
I do not condone such attacks of course, but they are an understandable outcome of creeping islamization of Germany and Europe in general.
Expect more of this to come because German politics has effectively made opposition to mass migration unacceptable politically, with far-right AfD (
Alternative für Deutschland, "The Alternative for Germany") the only party that is taking up a clear position against it.
I do not know if you follow German politics at all, but German state of Thuringia. The
Landtag (state parliament) was rather split with no party or even a plausible coalition able to form the majority. So initially a FDP (classical liberal) prime minister was elected to a minority FDP/CDU minority government with toleration by AfD. The outcry was big from Merkel's federal CDU (Merkel is the person most responsible for the abysmal mishandling of the migration crisis) and FDP and the prime minister Thomas Kemmerich was pressured to resign. So now the
Die Linke (Left Party) prime minister has been elected with votes from supposedly conservative CDU.
Die Linke wants open borders and doesn't want anybody, including rejected asylum seekers who have committed crimes, to be deported.
"
Volkstod" (death of the people) means that they want Germans to go extinct. Sure, the banner itself is by the Antifa, but there is a "Die Linke" logo on the truck door. "Bleiberecht für Alle" means "right to stay for everyone", meaning all illegal migrants.
Die Linke, especially in the East, are direct successors of the East German ruling communist party.
In brief, the political situation is that it has been made impossible to do anything about the mass migration crisis. Many Germans fear not only the increased crime and danger of terrorist attacks but in the long term the loss of their culture and national identity something left wing radicals in Germany are actively seeking out! So expect things to get worse and worse with people taking things into their own hands.
