Apparently Melissa Benoist has been cast as the titular character for this series. Not entirely sure what to make of that, but it seems these days that many superheroes are being reimagined (as in the case with Wonder Woman in the upcoming Superman vs Batman movie), so perhaps dark hair is ok. It seems her secret identity will include glasses. Oh, come on, hasn't that been done enough now? Cringe. Despite that I will be watching progess with interest.

Jessica Alba played Sue Storm in the Fantastic 4 movies, I think she wore one of those new-fangled "wigs".

I think what might happen is she starts off blonde and then in the script it'll be "oh, I felt like dying my hair dark and liked it better"
