In what everyone who is not a fascist/Nazi supporter has hailed as "a good idea", infamous hate subreddit The_Donald has been quarantined.
To access a quarantined subreddit, a user must have a verified email address, and click through a warning only accessible from a desktop site, preventing easy access from mobile platforms.
The events that precipitated this glorious event were not the repeated calls for violence against minorities, women, gay, liberal, or trans persons, that happened daily. Rather, it was the threats of violence against Oregon police for helping recover GOP senators so they could do their jobs as they swore in their oaths of office.
Nevertheless, the internet breaths a collective sigh today, even as members of the infamous hatesub cry foul, of censorship despite their own policy of censorship of all views to the left of Hitler himself.
I say, good riddance!
