Way back in the day, there would always periodically be a thread asking whether Firefly would be reborn. It seems we have all come to accept the brilliant plot was burned to ashes by Fox. So we moved on.
Babylon 5 didn't usually have that sort of thread, but online the rumors would pop up here and there. Recently Babylon 5's creator (don't ask me to spell it!) announced something was coming... something that was already produced! And we seem to have gotten the official notice now that an animated Babylon 5 project is to be streaming this summer!
What we do know is that it seems most of the cast that are still alive are involved in the voicing. Sadly, Babylon 5, despite only being 20 years or so old, has seen a large number of cast members pass away. What is interesting is that the haracters include a number of names of characters that are a bit unexpected, based on what we know about the plot. I read in one article this is post Season 5, I read in another article the plot is unknown timeline wise.
What is also unknown is what this is. I think I read it was a film, but grains of salt around with the reporting. Hopefully this is as good as Seasons 2 to 4.
