The editor of an Alabama newspaper is calling for the return of the Ku Klux Klan's infamous night rides

He seems proud of it.

"Time for the Ku Klux Klan to night ride again," begins the editorial, written by Goodloe Sutton. "Democrats in the Republican Party and Democrats are plotting to raise taxes in Alabama."

Sutton confirmed to CNN that he wrote the editorial but declined to provide any additional information.

Link to newspaper with shot of the anonymous op-ed. You know, the first thing that comes to mind is just overhanded satire. But the last three years have proven I have given way too much credit to some of these people.

"Seem like the Klan would be welcome to raid the gated communities up there," Sutton wrote in the editorial.

Does this guy realize that the GOP live in gated communities?

Regardless, the entire Op-Ed reads like a drunken rant from some subscriber... making it all the worse that it was the paper itself that decided to plop that aimless partisan hate storm into their paper. This guy should be fired for incompetence, exposing himself as being utterly incapable of authoring a coherent article. Of course, citing the Klan definitely gives an opportunity for firing him for being a fucking racist fuckhead.
