Just yesterday I was thinking they should develop something like a retroreflector for bullets. Use them to make signs. Thin out the idiots a bit.

(I'm 4 1/2 miles down a dirt road that by appearances sees very little use. You would need a 4x4 high clearance vehicle to drive it and there's not much out there. I come to the end of the road and find a sign saying that the ranger station was .8 miles ahead, hiking only. (Most definitely only on foot--it turned into a slot canyon, there were two rocks in the way, the first you could crouch and waddle under, the second you had to approximate a crawl.) There were half a dozen bullet holes in the sign.

(The sign looked not too old, the "ranger station" was an old monitoring station from when Hoover Dam was built, at this point it was a concrete foundation with some rusty bits inside.)
