The post about Amy-Jill Levine is in the Old Testament section of the carnival. This can only be because she is Jewish. The scholarship for which she is most renowned deals with the New Testament, particularly her efforts to have the New Testament understood as Jewish literature. Here lecture at her at the award ceremony in Frankfurt am Main, Germany on June 26th was entitled, “Learning about Jews by Reading the New Testament.”
