So, Texas and Oklahoma, two large football programs, left their conference for the SEC, which is widely regarded as where the best teams are. The reason they did this, money.

Then the ACC, Pac-12, and Big 10 got together and formed an alliance... kind of like when Sen. Cruz and Gov. Kasich joined forces for about 36 hours to try and defeat Trump in the primaries. The reason for this, fear of losing money.

Currently the Cartels of College Football seem to be suffering from the nonsense that is the multi-billion dollar College Football industry which is built off of non-competitive football games being entered into fixed ranking systems to provide to us a college football playoff which has about as much legitimacy as the outcomes in WWE matches. The reason for this, lots of money. Because when small schools play at large schools, they make money... which is why Ohio University will played in Columbus and not Athens, Ohio. Money.

MONEY MONEY MONEY MONEY MONEY MONEY.

And the SEC has got this feel of a Super League like what the foreign owners of European Football franchises tried to pull off. The trouble the SEC has at the moment is that they have to share too much money with other Cartels (also called conferences to make things better in the courts). So if SEC just drafts the best teams into their Conference, then they can get bigger bucks for their SEC channel.

All of this stupidity is pushed forward by America's inexplicable attachment to college football... which as previously noted, on par with WWE outcomes for legitimacy. So we are watching the other cartels scramble to not lose money while the SEC tries to corner the market on more money.

Personally, I like how out in the open about all the bullshit that is College Football, and how it is nothing but a business these days. There is no pretense. The alliance is about money. And no one seems to care.
