"I said I don't think I'm going to make it to heaven. In front of a massive group of people, fifty-six thousand people...I don't think I'm going to make it. I'm doing a great job for a lot of people, but I don't think so. I'm just not worthy of heaven, I'm not gonna make it...I hope to make it, but I don't think I will."
-DJT at a rally in Rome, Georgia, on 2/19/26

To be honest, he prefaced this ramble by noting how he'd been joking when he said it at a previous appearance (to the 'massive group'), and it had inspired much speculation in the press. By the end of the ramble, he didn't seem to be quoting from the earlier appearance. He seemed to be floating an idea he had, probably to get his fans to shout encouragement and tell him he was indeed worthy.
In the context of years of insipid and unintelligent ramblings from this man, this one is innocuous. Really, if you care what Trump thinks about religion, you haven't listened closely to him, ever. It is strange to hear a President tell you that -- in essence -- he's too evil to be heaven material.
In the stock image of the Pearly Gates with a gatekeeper, you could imagine Trump simply wearing down the admitting angels. He'd have Todd Blanche and Alina Habba arguing that he'd put more $99 Bibles into circulation than anyone else in the Bible business recently.
In the best case scenario, he'd arrive at the gates to find Allah, which would lead to a) the world's fastest conversion, although, being Trump, he'd pronounce Shiite as -- you guessed it, he'd self-identify as the biggest Shit on the planet -- and, and b) he'd request the youngest 72 virgins available.
