...well, it was just Jack Johnson, so the news isn't too incredible. But it did happen.
Jack Johnson was a boxer around the turn of the century... no... the one before it... who got into trouble for having sex with a white woman. Yeah... that stuff used to be illegal... back in the "good ole days".
In any case, Johnson had to leave the nation to avoid being put into jail, but eventually he returned to the US and served over a year in jail for putting his umm... into a white woman's... umm... You get the point. There is a remarkable movie about some parallel universe life of Jack Johnson called The Great White Hope. Wonderfully acted, if not almost entirely made up.
They will need to re-release the film starring James Earl Jones to put in a slip afterwards with a huge picture of Trump and small text saying that Trump pardoned Jack Johnson.
