Of course they will...all that money has to go to white supremacists....

The United States plans to chop its funding for the office of the U.N. human rights chief and the Human Rights Council, the Associated Press reported Thursday. Whacking the budget was wholly expected since the United States quit the council in June, citing bias against Israel as well as other alleged flaws in the 47-member organization.

The decision to quit the HRC came just a day after Zeid Ra’ad al-Hussein, the U.N. High Commissioner for Human Rights, chastised the Trump regime for its family separation policy. Al-Hussein has been a steady critic of Trump’s immigration policies, his treatment of Muslims, and his attacks on the press and judiciary. In other words, not unlike criticisms leveled on Trump by many Americans. In March 2017, al-Hussein noted:

“Greater and more consistent leadership is needed to address the recent surge in discrimination, anti-Semitism, and violence against ethnic and religious minorities,” he told a meeting of the UN human rights council in Geneva.

“Vilification of entire groups such as Mexicans and Muslims, and false claims that migrants commit more crimes than US citizens, are harmful and fuel xenophobic abuses.”

On the list of international organizations snubbed by the US, UNHRC is pretty insignificant. The criticism of it being biased against Israel while ignoring other human rights abusers isn't entirely without merit. Maybe it wouldn't be such a bad idea to disband it (again) and start from scratch.

For one, any organization for human rights should hold its own members to a higher standard than anyone who is not a member.

Isn't it a good thing that members of the Human Rights Council are massive abusers of human rights?

It must be a lot easier to deal with the abuses if the abusers are in the room with you and you don't need to do things like go all the way to the end of the hall to confront them about it.
