What is a better term for a purposefully deceptive fallacy other than boldfaced lie? Looking for something technical. Basically, a lie crafted to be very effective and that at worst case could even be seen as a logical fallacy.
Because the subject matter can concern politics, I think this is the right forum.
Take Scott Pruitt head of the EPA. I would bet that he is using fairly mixed amount of both fallacies. Just looking at his mannerisms he is an off the scale extreme psychopath that is full of himself. I wonder if his lackeys are the ones who are crafting the lies and then having to self medicate from the psychic toll.
