Yeah, I suppose it might be a quantum easier for people to not have to skip several lines of the older 1040 to do their tax form... granted, they had the 1040EZ which was pretty simple. Now we all have to deal with a truncated and split up tax form that makes less sense than before and requires you to skip from form to form, adding or subtracting unstated values on the main form. But hey, dumbass got that "postcard" he was looking for.
