With 92% of women evacuated from Afghanistan, Taliban signals shift on gay sex

KABUL, ISLAMIC EMIRATES OF AFGHANISTAN - The acting leader of the Taliban announced a likely shift in its policy on gay sex after the short-sighted plan to allow unfettered access to the airport on the final days of Western occupation in Afghanistan. The number of women in the country fell by an estimated 92%, as female refugees were accepted in several countries.

The Taliban leader was noted as being a bit surprised that so many women were able to flee via airports of the national borders. At first, it was thought that millions of women were in hiding, but census results confirmed there was an undetected exodus of women from Afghanistan, leading to a shift in the Sharia interpretations on gay sex. Beastilality is expected to remain forbidden, however, it is understood that "nothing is off the table".

Actually -- to bring down the hilarity level just a scootch -- Afghanistan has an old sexual practice called bacha bazi, which is a form of child prostitution in which men acquire young boys to be their sex slaves. It was at least nominally condemned by the Taliban, although Wikipedia claims that prosecution was highly selective and that well-placed warlords and their ilk are often immune to detection and punishment. Strange to hear of this in a culture in which women have been so thoroughly dominated and their lives channeled to the desires of men.

Yeah, and I mean, I am not someone that thinks people shouldn't be allowed to use humor in these situations. But the kind of dark thing here specifically is that in many rural parts of Afghanistan, effectively, men don't have access to women. So, yeah, goats are one thing. But actually, a lot of men just use male children as sex slaves. Say what you will about the Taliban, but they didn't tolerate the systematic boy-rape which has run rampant during the occupation.
