I wish to nominate Sense8 as the world´s dumbest and lamest trailer in the history of the world.

The whole point of the trailer is to whet my appetite. The name is dumb. It just sounds like something a child came up with. And then when they say that the entire premise of the film is that a person gets to share the experiences with eight people simultaneously... I´m already bored. I don´t care. Then they´re hunted for it..... yawn. Just sounds contrived. Also, it´s some sort of gift, ie they´re now a special kind of hero with this super-power... done to death a billion times. I will not see this film.

So please post your worst trailers. I´d love to see a crap trailer for a film that was good.

It's a TV show! :D

If the show itself is just as bad, doesn't it make the trailer a good one for helping you avoid it? Truth in advertising.

"We're Back."
A funny, possibly musical romp of a cartoon, at least in the trailer, clearly aimed for little kids as some dinosaurs come 'back' to life. Including a big cuddly T-Rex.

In the theater, though, there's the frightening Dr. Screweyes, and the danger he poses, about which not a goddamned thing was mentioned before taking the kiddies to the show.

Having actually seen it; it's actually quite good, and you're depriving yourself if you're refusing to see it based on a rather wrong impression derived from the trailer. Sense8 really isn't a super-hero show. It also isn't really like anything else on TV or in film; for one, it's incredibly slow (which is not a bad thing). And it's not shallow like everything else is, and actually forces you to think about what's going on instead of having it spoonfed to you. The way the characters grow and interact is really quite good and interesting; there's more character building in a single episode than most shows manage across their entire series.

It's not perfect, and there's parts of it that I dislike, but it's definitely worth a shot.

For worst trailer ever, I recommend:

Ruined an internet meme for me.

What really bothers me is the trailer for the new Terminator movie. It gives away what's going to be one of the major twists halfway through the film, so the whole first half of the movie where that's supposed to be an unknown is told to you before you go in to see it. They did the same thing for the earlier Terminator movies as well. It's a really stupid thing to give away plot twist details like that in a trailer.

Thank you Dr. Zoidberg. I have watched the trailer and am now going to check out the series!

I think it looks pretty interesting and I would never have checked it out otherwise.
