CNN was telling us that Cuomo is under lock down in his basement due to him having the virus. Then we find out he was outside and got a police report filed against him. He was with his wife and kids.

What a shameless liar. Now he made a video saying, "I still can't be with my wife" LOL what a crock of fake news and the sheep fall for it. He was just out with his wife!!

Between this guy's whining and his brother's crying to Trump about ventilators that Cuomo refused to use that he has stockpiled in a warehouse, I weep for the sheep.

Do you realize that he was on his own property? That's compliance with quarantine. Note that broadcasting from the basement doesn't mean he was restricted to the basement, just that that's where the equipment was set up.

And why do you think the bicyclist is telling it correctly?

I got impression that he was in his basement 24/7, certainly not going outside of his house and driving to his other property.

It's even more confusing when you read the article and realise The Hill is reporting this from the New York Post. I'm skeptical of tabloid journalism even at the best of times, but The Post story had a few more details:

"Dave" was at least 30 metres away so social distancing was observed.
Cuomo was only with his family who has already been exposed, so not violating any self isolation protocols there. Also, I'm not sure what the expectation is for how a family is supposed to act when both parents are tested positive, but I have full confidence Half-life will enlighten us with his comprehensive knowledge and expertise in this area.

But according to the OP, because of this the Governor of New York is a pathological liar and CNN is completely corrupt. I'm assuming the implication here is that the only politician to trust in this pandemic Pandishah Emperor At-golf Twitler and one should only receive their news from KCNA 2.0 FOX

I watch Cuomo practically every day and on Friday (I think) he said he kept isolation even from his infected wife, he then went on and gave his reasons for doing so. In any case impression he was giving throughout his ordeal is that he was in his basement 24/7.

Oh, watch the video 1/2Life posted. that's the one I was talking about.
So yes, Someone is lying here, either that bicyclist or Chris Cuomo.

Yes from Southampton to East Hampton, somewhere between 6-8 miles depending on where each property is in each burb. I go to the next suburb for groceries and its about 6 miles away. I have no idea about this altercation as filed in this unknown man's complaint with the police. So I'm going to go ripping into him for something that I don't have much information about. It is a weird thing with me, I don't just spout off when I don't have a clue.

Were you ripping into Ivanka and her family for driving over 200 miles to Bedminster NJ for passover?

You're not going to infect someone while you're in your car. That's basically safe. It's his property on both ends, safe. I don't have a problem here.

Loren, just because Half-Life's and conservative spin may be incorrect doesn't mean EVERY SINGLE BIT of things they say about this issue are incorrect!

Note that this isn't a comment on anything else in this thread to say if something is correct or spin or whatever. I am merely commenting on the very narrow, specific issue of self-quarantining in his basement. No, not even that--that is too broad. I am commenting on Loren's post only. It's that narrow.

Loren wrote that "broadcasting from the basement" doesn't imply he was self-quarantined. While this is technically true, it was not grounded in the facts since no one was saying that broadcasting from the basement implied he was self-quarantined in the basement. Instead, Chris Cuomo said that himself. Again, that's all this post is pointing out.

Please, no Democrats respond that NY Post is fake and spin. I know that already! Please no Republicans respond that this post therefore proves conservatives are right. No, it doesn't! Again, this is a very narrow point just about what Chris Cuomo said he was doing.

15 April was when they announced his wife tested positive. So, relaxing from qwarter-teened in the basement away from family, to qwarter-teened on his property, with his family is still observing qwarter-teen.
Situation changed, response changed, Halfie screams inane bullshit.

Was Ivanka positive for corona?

Cuomo was saying, "I'm stuck in my basement. I can't get out. I'm going nuts." Then it turns out he went cruising. So, he lied. Plain as the sun in the sky, guys. And then telling the cyclist, "F you! I can do whatever I want! Do you know who I am?!?!" What a massive ego this guy has. He only has a job because his brother is governor. But, both of them are 2 of the biggest idiots in politics.

Also, if you go to the 2:15 mark of the video, you can see him laughing and smiling. Probably doesn't even have corona. One big CNN fake news hoax to gain sympathy.
