"Bye-bye Tucker Carlson!"

How is a private company exercising their first amendment right ($ = speech) anything like a totalitarian govt? Trump wanting to censor peoples books is totalitarian. Companies pulling ad dollars from the shows of total morons on TV isn't really the same.

The effect would be the same. Censorship, even de-facto censorship via corporate pressure, is not good for the free exchange of ideas which is vital for a thriving democracy.
Neither is forcing or expecting people to support ideas they despise with their funds.

Which sounds well in theory, but does not work when, like now, there is a culture of political correctness where anybody holding an opinion contrary to the totalitarian "Black Lives Matter" movement is falsely labeled as "racist" and shunned.

Note: at the same time overt anti-white racists like Al Sharpton are celebrated as "civil rights" figures and it is even claimed that "only whites can be racist".

I fear for the US.

No, people who say that BLM has no legitimate gripe b/c there is no systemic racism which devalues black lives are rationally called racists, b/c it is logically impossible to reach that conclusion w/o assuming that blacks are inferior and inherently violent.

You should, given how many people like you and Tucker live in it, with your pre-emancipation mentality (which is the period in the past that the "again" in MAGA refers to.)

The company is freely expressing their ideas. It was their choice to change who represents the ideas they want to express. Consumers choosing to express their objections to ideas they find objectionable, and companies deciding to listen and alter change their ideas is the very essence of a free exchange of ideas and how all social progress is made.

I forgot - being against racism is now "political correctness".

If I shared your delusional nightmare, I'd fear it as well.

“We don’t endorse those words,”
Opened up with both barrels, din'tya Tucker?

Tucker said:
“They have no connection to the show."
He wrote for you.

Tucker said:
'It is wrong to attack people for flaws they cannot control”
Wait. What? The word is "qualities". "Qualities". Let's try that again.

Tucker said:

Goddamnit!

Tucker said:
But he also chastised those who might take delight in the matter, criticizing “the ghouls now beating their chests” over “the destruction of a young man.” He told viewers: “When we pose as blameless in order to hurt other people, we are committing the gravest sin of all.”
Was this before or after someone said, "vacation"?

He is not going away. His ratings are up, he s a cash cow for FOX.

He has taken a "vacation" before and returned. When advertisers drop his show, it may not affect Fox much unless they cancel for all their other shows too.

That Tucker hires racists is not surprising.

He’s not a cash cow if his only advertiser left is My Pillow.

True. Ratings mean nothing. Advertisers are the catch, the viewers are the bait.

The other way of looking at it is that people come for Tucker Carlson and stay for the other shows on FOX. And like it or not (and you shouldn't like it) Tucker Carlson is very popular. The other thing to consider is Carlson is not a lawsuit drain like O'Reilly was. So to hijack your metaphor; Tucker Carlson is the bait, the other shows and their advertising revenue are the catch.
