A Hamas member is going to report what Hamas wants even if he's acting as a journalist.

It's not the first time Hamas has tried to pass off one of their martyrs as a "journalist". They have previous for it.

Nobody but the Israelis do the sort of studying needed to find these problems. Thus such sources are going to be Israeli.

And the mainstream news outlets have no problem regurgitating what Hamas tells them without questioning it or even trying to verify it. The Jew baiting Guardian and BBC lap up anything Hamas say.
