I don't get these random "trick shots" thing. Its mostly random luck. I'd get bored after three tries. Then, if you do make it, you get your
15 minutes 6 seconds of fame on Tik Tok. Think of a real, useful skill you could have learned in all that time. Like learning to play an instrument, or learn how to tune up your car or bake a cake. Kids these days.. Pffffft.
I recently put a toe Bandaid from in the shower, over the glass door and into the small wastebasket (two meters away) across the bathroom. What was impressive about it was the high arc needed to make the basket which was tucked under the countertop leaving very little basket to make. If you're familiar with an NBA behind the backboard three point shot as the player is falling out of bounds, yeah, it was that good.
No video though.
My claim to fame was back in 2003 when I was going for a walk with my new cute, blond girlfriend. I picked up an unusual looking rock and showed it to her. I don't remember exactly what it looked like. After looking and talking about it, I threw it towards a small, lone bird perched on a branch on a leafless tree, hoping to maybe just hit a branch and startle the bird into flying off. The distance to it was about at the end of my throwing capability. I ended up hitting it dead on, and it fell straight to the ground without a flinch. After about a minute, it came to and flew off. We were both simultaneously amazed and horrified. It was a one in a million shot.
