I found this while trying to see what Weev, the AT&T hacker, was up to. It was linked on the "encyclopedia dramatica" twitter page - because of shock value?!?

I thought that a user like this would be bounced quickly, since twitter is a private company not a public amenity.

i use that word on a semi regular basis to describe people with whom I shall attempt to avoid contact. It has nothing to do with what shape, color, or geographical origin they may have had and everything to do with how they carry themselves, what image they present, and how they interact with the people around them. In fact, about 80% of the people I encounter to whom I apply the label are of European descent. As it stands, I happen to have married someone of more recent African descent.

That young guy, Elliot Rodger, who just killed 6 women in Santa Barbara, was involved in a self-pitying forum of guys who failed at being "Pick-up Artists" to feed his grievances.

And how many of those other guys on that forum killed people? If the answer is zero, then it's safe to say that participating in websites like it don't lead people to becoming killers. There was something wrong with Rodger and his hateful and murderous thoughts could have found any innocuous thing to feed off of.
