Always a stream of interesting news about the gang of three...

Hillary is sending targeted warning shots to Joe Biden...don't run or else.

...you’re going to get hurt... the sidelines is far different from actual candidate, they want him to realize, when they and everyone else unleash on him, raking through every gaffe and every vote in 36 years in the Senate, digging through his personal life. In the campaign headquarters and in Clinton's wider orbit, they take care to say how much they like him, how much they respect him, don't want to say a bad word about him. But “Should a man like Joe Biden run?” is going to be a very different question for them than “Should a man like Joe Biden be president?”

Hillary's poll numbers keep reaching new lows, while Biden's rise. The latest Bloomberg Poll:

And Now there is new and more troubling questions be raised about Hillary's closest friend and top aid, Huma Abedin.

A spring 2012 email to Hillary Clinton’s top State Department aide, Huma Abedin, asked for help winning a presidential appointment for a supporter of the Clinton Foundation, according to a chain obtained by POLITICO.

The messages illustrate the relationship between Clinton’s most trusted confidante and the private consulting company that asked for the favor, Teneo — a global firm that later hired Abedin. Abedin signed on with the company while she still held a State Department position, a dual employment that is now being examined by congressional investigators...

“This is a troubling example of Teneo and the Clinton Foundation seeking State Department help for a Teneo client and Clinton Foundation supporter,” Grassley said in a statement. ... The State Department ought to release the rest of any such emails in the interest of good government and transparency.”

The newly disclosed email chain comes a day after Bloomberg first reported that the FBI can recover all of Clinton’s emails on her homemade server, where Abedin also had an email account that she used for some State Department work.

The email scandal has thrown a wrench into Clinton’s campaign, and Abedin, a longtime aide, has been caught up in the controversy.
News broke days ago that the State Department inspector general had opened a “criminal investigation” into alleged overpayments made to Abedin at State. The Justice Department failed to take up the case, which is now being handled administratively.

And Judge Sullivan is on the State Department's ass again, telling them to move faster. After a long diatribe of excuses from the DOJ attorney representing State, the Judge delivered a curt order "find the resources". He gave them one week to turnin all of Mills and Abedin's emails.

As for Bernie: his supporters are pretty hot over the lack of debates in the "democratic" party. DNC Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz was heckled and confronted by protesters who demanded a change. The calls for more debates has continued, coming to a head at the NH state convention. Schultz was nearly driven from the stage by the angry crowd.

And so it goes...

"Gang of three"? Really?

We are far away from the primaries, anything could happen. Biden is not running, but many people like him. Hillary has huge support from African Americans (the people Republicans actively try to suppress).

Why is the black vote so geared towards Hillary over Sanders and Biden?

Inertia. Same was true with Obama for a while.

I thought Hillary was supposed to be in stripes, behind bars, while Republicans throw rotten fruit at her in disgrace by now?

Not yet...be patient. Given that the administrative agencies are circling the wagons to avoid dealing with the law, it is unlikely that Lynch will have the integrity to prosecute. And unlike the Bush administration, there is no chance this administration would dare to bring in a special prosecutor (them folks being the most transparent administration in history. ;))

Still, the noose is tightening. The NYTimes reports that the FBI is now mulling over potential illegality by her aids, in their communications with Hillary.

The email described a deteriorating situation in Libya, with snipers shooting people in the streets as rebels tried to unseat President Muammar el-Qaddafi and worried American diplomats in the midst of a “phased checkout” from Benghazi. It arrived in the private email account of Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, one Sunday morning in April 2011, with unforeseen consequences.

That email, which included an update from the Africa Command of the Department of Defense detailing Libyan military movements, is part of the evidence that law enforcement officials say the F.B.I. is now examining as it tries to determine whether aides to Mrs. Clinton mishandled delicate national security information when they communicated with their boss.

The Libyan dispatch, written by an aide to Mrs. Clinton and then forwarded to her by Huma Abedin, one of her top advisers, should have been considered classified, according to intelligence officials. And, they say, other emails to Mrs. Clinton they have found, including one addressing North Korea’s nuclear weapons system and a third discussing United States drone strikes in Pakistan, should have been marked “Top Secret.”

If the DOJ went to a grand jury, the case against Hillary and her minions would be easy to make. She set up a secret server for her and her aides, she was responsible for the protection of the information, she neglected to report or take corrective action when she saw the classified/sensitive data, she then attempted to destroy the original documents. She only printed out the e-mails she chose to disclose and tried to erase the rest — unsuccessfully, as it turns out.

Covering up the chain of criminal activity? Sounds like a RICO case to me.

The right is always going to demonize the Democratic front runnier and the eventual nominee. They have little choice. They can't present reasoned, logical arguments for not changing in areas where change is so obviously needed, income inequality, climate change and racism for example. Or even arguing as so many of Republican do today that we should be reactionary and return to the times that were better. Times that so many of us know were not better in any possible understanding of the word.

She recorded her conversations while doing all this. Oh wait ......

He erased half of the tapes of his conversations under the pretext of it being "personal stuff". Oh wait....

I win.

He recorded his misbehavior. She didn't record her behavior so there's no way of proving she either did misbehave or intended to misbehave. What's left is a partisan tarring of her with no possibility of there being a legal resolution of sanction.

The right *snip*

This thread is about a poll showing 2/3 of Democrats now prefer not Hillary.

Perhaps you can shake up your scripts a little and comment on that?

According to the latest Bloomberg poll, 79% of Republicans prefer not Trump.

So with a whopping 21% support, Trump is en fuego, while Hillary sitting at a dismal 33% might as well just pack up and go home.

You should save this point up and bust it out with vengeance when someone actually says "Trump is en fuego".

If you "win", it is the category of posting opaque gibberish as 'an argument'. I pointed out that she could be covering up up the chain of criminal activity in massive erasers of her email communications, and quipped that it sounds like a RICO case. Your response was to chatter some incoherent 'points' about her conversations not being recorded (like it mattered). Huh?

Don't you know that she has recorded her misbehavior, in the use and storage of sensitive and classified data in WRITTEN and electronic form. But if you must make a comparison, there are two differences:

First, Nixon likely erased 15 minutes of 10,500 hours of own verbal conversations on his own unofficial archive (it was his choice to retain and record conversations, which was not a procedure in executive office archiving) - he claimed Congress and the public had no right to know what was on them BUT he provided almost all of them.

Hillary, on the other hand, erased 30,000 of the original 60,000 emails on her NON COMPLIANT email record keeping system, intentionally ignoring departmental record keeping requirements. She claimed she was entitled to erase what she liked, which was 50 percent of her email.

Second, Nixon was held accountable by Congress and forced from office in disgrace. It remains to be seen if Hillary will be prevented from assuming the office, in disgrace.

Staff: Please put a NFSW tag on this thread because max is having orgasms all over the place.

I pointed out that she could be covering up up the chain of criminal activity...

She could be? Wishful thinking on your part does not constitute criminal activity on her part.
