IIRC, Howard Dean talked about wanting to overturn the 1996 Telecom act which allowed massive consolidation. This was just a few days before the Dean Scream came out and the entire media tarred him.

If Trump made the mistake of saying the same thing, the media would probably drop his coverage way down or find another way to sabotage him.

I think asking Trjmp about Media consolidatin is the biggest bomb you could throw at him.

A tually it is the biggest bomb against Bernie Sanders, who probably is for smaller media companies.

Donald Trump: 'I could shoot somebody and I wouldn’t lose any voters'
That isn't what he said; that is just part of a longer, more complex sentence.

You'd think this would be his "bigger than Jesus" moment. But it's not.

I watched the video twice. He wasn't speaking as if it was something he was saying.
You need to explain that response because it seems to be completely counterfactual.
He uses the word, "where."

He is making an unusually complex statement. He isn't espousing his personal view. He is speaking not even about his voters but rather the polls views of his voters views of him.

He is espousing his personal view of the loyalty of "his people". He is not quoting anyone. And there is nothing complex about it at all. It is an incredibly stupid way to describe loyalty.

Anyway, do you think that the media companies (or their parents) think that Trump will basically leave them alone? Or will he help them make more money in the future, besides the really small amount of ratings bump they get from him (in the big picture of all the other income sources they have)?

Also, is there a way for them to really destroy him despite his unusual skills and niche appeal? Ignoring him?

They ignored the shit out of Larry Lessig (NBC in debate)... Because his platform would cost them a ton of money.

Trump's statement may be true depending on who he shoots.
