Danke Merkel! Germany (and Europe in general) brought these problems onto themselves by importing millions of these "refugees" without any vetting and also by encouraging integration-resistant Islamic immigration for decades, resulting in Islamist enclaves in many European cities.
Luckily this guy was shot dead by police; otherwise he'd be released without being deported after a few years given how Europe has been dealing with other Islamic crimigrants.

Immigration, where you can check individual immigrants and grant or deny them an immigrant visa is one thing. Mass migration is quite another. If you import people in bulk, they will exhibit bulk properties of the societies they came from, in this case quite negative ones. Europe now has to content with having chunks of Syria, Afghanistan, etc. in their midst with all the negative consequences thereof. France has had a chuck of Maghreb in it for a while and it is now blowing up in a deadly fashion.
And this guy is hardly the only fakefugee committing serious crimes. And even those who aren't slashing people or raping children are by and large reactionary Muslims who are incompatible with secular European society.

Those are handy monikers that are meant to exemplify the stupidity of EU (and especially Merkel's) migration policy. Yes, each of these cases is an individual case, but they commit these types of crimes much more frequently than Europeans, making European societies much more violent and dangerous than they would be without all these Islamic migrants. I mean, these cases happen almost daily. Now we have a stabfugee in France.

There is also the problem with EU authorities trying to downplay or cover up these cases all the while continuing to take in Muslim mass migrants.

No, I would not be. Reasonable numbers of immigrants who really want to integrate are good. Mass migration where you can't do any vetting of individuals is bad, especially when the societies they come from are so different. You end up with people who want to remake Germany or France or UK into an Islamic society.

As such, the violent cases are just the tip of the iceberg. The much bigger part is hidden but no less dangerous.

You have mass migration of people from a society incompatible with secular Europe. Some do want to integrate and they are only ones who should be allowed to immigrate. When you have vast majorities of a society supporting an Islamic (rather than secular) society and you bring them into your country in bulk, without any selection mechanism, then you end up with people in your country who are the fifth column for Islamism.
