FIRST IN MORNING MEDIA: Keith Olbermann has a new show, after more than a year away from the camera. It’s not on a cable network this time, but rather in the form of a web series for GQ, where Olbermann has been named “special correspondent.” The bi-weekly series is called “The Closer with Keith Olbermann” and is scheduled to debut 8 a.m. tomorrow on gq.com. “He’ll be providing commentary on the election, with the flexibility to delve into other timely issues when relevant,” a GQ rep told Morning Media.

When he was with MSNBC, he had a lot of fans. During the 2012 elections, he and MSNBC even occasionally beat out O'Reilly and Fox in viewer ratings.

How could a liberal not like Olbermann?

...well, I mean, aside from working for or with him, the guy's a notorious egomaniac...but just as a viewer. Anyway, here's the first couple of episodes.





ETA: We're at the point where jackasses on tv clutch their pearls because Hillary Clinton points out that Trump is basically running on white supremacy, and has managed to attract a lot of bigots. Olbermann's one of the people pushing back against that bullshit, so I'm on his side.
