The third presidential debate is only a week away, October 19, Wednesday. If Trump shows up that is. It is going to be interesting to watch. Will Trump be crestfallen, or a cornered wild beast? All Clinton has to do is offer America the prospect of a reasonable, sane president. Will she smirk and grin, or offer us a gracious spectacle? Will she ignore Trump and pitch her appeals to the Bernie supporters and fence sitters?

What if Trump decides to not show up? If he shows up will he bluster, or swallow his pride and practically beg for forgiveness and support?

I expect a repeat of the last debate, only even more blustery. The shackles are off! He could physically assault Clinton on stage and his mob would cheer. He doesn't need most people to like him, just enough that will buy into whatever con he'll be selling after he loses the election.

[h=1]Topics for third presidential debate announced[/h] By Kelsey Sutton
10/12/16 05:02 PM EDT

Fox News’ Chris Wallace, the moderator of the third and final presidential debate between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump, has announced the topics that will guide the questions at the debate.
Wallace will ask questions about debt and entitlements, immigration, the economy, the Supreme Court, foreign hot spots and the candidates’ fitness to be president, according to an announcement made Wednesday by the Commission on Presidential Debates. Each of the six segments will last 15 minutes.
Those topics are subject to change based on any news developments.
The presidential debate will air a 9 p.m. ET on Oct. 19 and will run for 90 minutes. It is being held at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

Three debates and not one moment to talk about climate change.

Clinton should this time take the higher ground for once and stop repeating how unfit Trump is and start talking about her policies. It's incredibly annoying seeing her attack her opponent completely unnecessary all the time. Trump shows how unfit he is himself 24/7. You don't need to mention the groping & racist stuff all the time. We *know* about that. The media is covering it 24/7.

She only should defend herself in 1 short line. 'This is a lie Donald, the facts check otherwise. Now let me move on and tell the audience what my plans are...<insert intellectual talk about policies>'.

And she should show herself vulnerable. 'I've been attacked 25 years with all kind of filth. I'm still here. I have a vision of how I perceive the future of our country and I am going to work the hardest to achieve it. I made mistakes in the past and I will make mistakes in the future.'

"candidates’ fitness to be president"

What in the fuck is this Trojan horse doing there?

Yeah... rhetorical question.

Donald Trump told a rally of supporters in Florida Wednesday that electing Hillary Clinton as president next month would see the Islamic State militant group (ISIS) “take over this country,” as he continued to brush off a string of recent controversies.

The firebrand Republican presidential candidate told voters in Ocala, Florida, that the extremist group was “hoping and praying” that Clinton ascends to the Oval Office. He seemed to extend the threat of ISIS to North America more widely, saying that the group would “take over this part of the world.”

------

Desperate fear mongering. All Trump has left? The politics of fear mongering and impotent rage.

Don't you know that the US is one of the poorest countries as far as defense goes? They will be overrun by 10.000 relatively poorly organised and poorly armed insurgents in days. At least, as far as Trump thinks.

Oh come on. You're not doing this right. You are supposed to be quivering with snot blowing fear. Only Trump can save you.

"candidates’ fitness to be president"

What in the fuck is this Trojan horse doing there?

Yeah... rhetorical question.

QUESTION: Do you think you're fit to be President?

Candidate One: Yes.

Candidate Two: Yes.

(Those are the paraphrases of their two-minute ramblings.)

QUESTION: Do you think your opponent is fit to be President?

Candidate Two: No.

Candidate One: No.

(More paraphrasing)

I'm so glad we're going to spend time ironing down their positions on this critical issue. Maybe THEN I can make up mind on who to vote for.

I would like the last debate to begin with Trump walking up and pushing a pie into Clinton's face, literally. She will spend the whole debate criticizing what a jackass he is, and making one or two policy points, all with pie in her face. Trump will end the debate by licking it off her.

That's one awful mental image.
