Almost a terrible miscarriage of justice as police hide evidence in a rape case;

A judge has called for an inquiry after the trial of a student accused of rape collapsed – following police failures. Last night it was revealed that officers failed to hand over evidence proving his innocence. Liam Allan, 22, was on bail for almost two years and spent three days at Croydon Crown Court in the dock before his trial was ceased yesterday. Mr Allan’s lawyers were denied access to the woman’s telephone records after police insisted there was nothing of interest for the defence or prosecution. Meanwhile, when a new prosecution barrister took over the case - the day before the trial started - he demanded police hand over the phone records.

DailyMail

A shocking state of affairs that undermines the whole system.

Hopefully, he can use this evidence to sue the women into poverty for the rest of her life.
Can't access the article from work, but did the woman directly accuse this guy, or was it some relatively random person that the police picked up? You seem awfully quick to judge. You're not an MRA, are you?

It's the Daily Fail so who knows just how accurate the reporting is.

The woman directly named him. She got what she kept pestering him for--rapey sex. The police didn't turn over the 40,000 text messages showing this.

However, there's little doubt he's guilty--of sticking his dick in crazy.

A bit harsh I think. But the real problem is with the police and prosecutors. They are the ones that need hammered.
