School speech pathologist fired for refusing to sign Israel oath

What's anti-Semitic about opposing the actions of a government that oppresses the Semitic people in Palestine?

What's anti-Semitic about opposing policies that deliberately place Jews in harm's way?

What's anti-Semitic about applying economic pressure to discourage violations of basic human rights?

Hamas most certainly oppresses Semitic people in Palestine--yet she wants to support them.

Hamas most certainly places Jews in harm's way--yet she supports them.

What's anti-Semitic about opposing the actions of a government that oppresses the Semitic people in Palestine? Be specific. You can start with describing the actions of Hamas if you'd like, but please specify what's anti-Semitic about opposing them.

What's anti-Semitic about opposing policies that deliberately place Jews in harm's way? Be specific. You can start with explaining how Hamas influences where Jews build their houses if you'd like, but please specify what's anti-Semitic about opposing a policy that deliberately places Jews in peril.

What's anti-Semitic about applying economic pressure to discourage violations of basic human rights? Please be specific. You can start by explaining what you think human rights are, and why applying economic pressure to discourage their violation is wrong. Then please explain what that's got to do with anti-Semitism, because I think you've got it backwards. I think it's anti-Semitic to encourage, or at least ignore, human rights violations against the indigenous population in the homeland of the Semitic people.

All the acts that Israel is being blamed for here are done more so by Hamas. By the arguments he is using he's advocating jumping from the frying pan into the fire.

Notice that LP has shifted his goal posts from the initial "criticism of Israel is disguised anti-semitism" to "untermenshe's criticism is disguised anti-semitism". It is true that in neither case has LP presented an iota of actual evidence to support his claims. But that is not surprising.

Read the thread--I was responding to untermenche's list.

I have read the thread. Have you?

I am asking you to be specific, to spell out what exactly you are disputing, arguing, critiquing, or denying. But instead of explaining, your posts are increasingly vague.

What specifically is anti-Semitic about the things on untermenche's list?

He thinks it's antisemitic to say that oppression creates bad people.

I'm saying the primary oppressors over there are the Arabs.

In Palestinian lands the primary oppression comes from Israel.

Israel prevents the Palestinians from trading with the world, not any Arabs.

Israel prevents the Palestinians from having an army, not any Arabs.

Israel prevents the Palestinians from having many things Israel has.

Who the fuck does Israel think it is?

The chosen people?

Israel only stops importing of stuff that can be used for military purposes. Anything else is ok to import, anything is ok to export. Hamas, however, often attacks the crossings to force them to close so as to preclude any imports/exports.

The Palestinians do have an army--which they are using for war.

The only thing Israel restricts is stuff that can be used for military purposes--and only because the Palestinians keep using them to attack Israel. If they quite attacking there would be no import restrictions.

Another Israel thread, another chance to post Zionist expansionist talking points instead of discussing the topic.

Someone mentioned Israeli policies is a disapproving manner? Quick, post pictures of Nazis and blame Hamas for everything, even things that happened before Hamas existed. If anyone argues, call them anti-Semitic and never mind that Palestinians are just as Semitic as Jews, if not more.

Bullshit.

But at least you admit Israel prevents the Palestinians the right to defend themselves from the constant Israeli aggression and theft.

When people are denied the right to defend themselves, always under the lie that the people are unworthy of it because they are sick mad dogs not humans, that is the essence of oppression.

From there it is not hard to steal at will and crush a trapped helpless economy at will.

You defend oppression.

With the absolute lie that the conditions of the Palestinians under oppression are the only conditions possible for the sub-humans. You deny them the means to create a safe modern state then cry that there are criminals.

Sick!

You're not arguing the point here.

Nothing antisemitic in protesting decades of Palestinian oppression at the hands of a powerful government that has also been stealing land that whole time.
This is debatable. BDS was widely accused of being antisemitic.

This anti-speech, anti-liberty law has nothing to do with BDS. It forbids people from engaging in any activity (including voicing objections) for any reason (including personal conscience with no connection to BDS) that might cause any economic harm to Israel or any company in Israel or that does business with Israel.
It is nothing short of fascist and would be thought horrifyingly unacceptable by all those who do not support a fascist state.

You're dodging the point.

Preventing people from gathering the means to defend themselves then attacking them repeatedly is oppression.

Add the non-stop theft of land and it is oppression to steal land.

The continual theft of land is the key to the whole situation. It is how we know what the oppression is all about.

If the oppression was just about security there would not be criminal theft of land.

The continual theft of land is propaganda, not reality. The border fence basically set the borders in stone.

And you don't think the Jews have any right to defend themselves against 70 years of Arab attacks.

Look at maps over time.

If you can't see the slow continual theft of land, the slow expansion into the West Bank and around Jerusalem you are just blind.

Nobody has ever said Israel has no right to defend themselves.

You are saying the Palestinians have no right to defend themselves against Israeli continual aggression.

The moral position is that both sides have the same rights and deserve the same capabilities of defense.

You don't understand, untermensche.

Loren just played the It Never Happened card. From this point on, any evidence you offer will be trumped by it.

Israeli authorities decided to seize hundreds of dunams of Palestinian land in the Jordan Valley?

*plays card* It Never Happened.

Israeli bulldozers have razed a Palestinian property on the outskirts of the occupied Old City of East Jerusalem al-Quds, and seized Palestinian-owned vehicles?

*plays card* It Never Happened.

The Bedouin village of Khan al-Ahmar in occupied Palestine will be demolished while the illegal Israeli settlements on either side will be protected?

*plays card* It Never Happened.

If you trump his trump and force Loren to confront the fact that theft of Palestinian land and resources is Israeli policy, he'll revert to reciting dogma about Hamas and anti-Semitism.

At least he's not religious so he doesn't tell us to read the Bible.

You're no doubt referring to that map that "shows" a transfer of control to the Jews, neglecting the fact that the vast majority of that was government-owned land that went with the government.

Oslo set who controlled development in various areas, how has that changed since?

So they are sort of homesteading it out from the reserves?

The law does not seem to do that. Can you point out the part of the law that you believe does this?
