It is to some extent. But it's also true that the USA and most western countries were built on white racism and white privilege. How can you deny that?

The white straight Christian man is the most oppressed group in society today. They are demonized everywhere. This is actually being the victim.

I don't know. You are the one who is so obsessed with race that you have to see everything translated into the terms of it. To me, this is probably the result of your trying to justify your own failures and shortcomings on anything outside of your own responsibility, no matter how weak the association.

IMHO the idea of white privilege is the advantage that has accrued to whites over a long period of time in an atmosphere of racial inequality and injustice. Your suggestion that we are currently experiencing Asian privilege would mean that you think that Asians rather than whites are the primary beneficiaries of the long-standing atmosphere of racial inequality and injustice. Is that what you are arguing here?

Is it that Asians benefited from racial inequality and injustice in America? I don't think so. I think that it is just that the vast majority of white Americans stopped being prejudiced against Asians.

I suspect that these types of arguments sound much better when you read them in your current favorite conservative echo chamber than they do here.
