The use of "statistical analysis" in The Imitation Game allowed decoded Enigma machines to be exploited without raising any suspicions... in a similar way the intelligent force could help or interact with certain people while making sure there is a balance so that it isn't statistically significant...



Also quantum foam gives the intelligent force even more possibilities to tweak the simulation compared to a Newtonian universe.....

Do you think in the future it is possible that people will create simulations that are indistinguishable from reality? Or is it impossible?

The inside of a "simulation" is a reality. It's already indistinguishable if you are inside from reality, because that's what the inside of a simulation is, the identity of it's function, as a universe.

Unless you mean simulating THIS reality, in which case also yes, but obviously not at scale.

It could start with a key desired outcome then tweak the present and hypothetical past to lead to that.... by the hypothetical past I mean things like fossils that involve a plausible past that wasn't explicitly simulated in the same way the present is.
