Mormons are extremely right wing and can be extremely racist. Hell, racism was part of their official theology until the 1970s. However, most of them are painfully aware of how they were mistreated in the rest of America when they were a religious minority before establishing Utah. At times, they can be remarkably sensitive to how religious minorities are treated because of things like the Missouri-Mormon war.

If he's Mormon, that's not much better considering the Mormons' history in the USA.

I wasn't going to do the "friends" thing. It doesn't really have a practical use, that I can see. Then I realised how warm and fuzzy it made me feel when somebody asked me.
