At 11 am, the results:
"The Congress took a huge early lead in Haryana, crossing the halfway mark of 46. However, later, the BJP caught up.
The BJP is leading in 45 seats in the state, the Congress in 38.
In Jammu and Kashmir, the Congress-National Conference alliance was leading in 46 seats whereas the BJP was leading in 25 seats."

1 pm. The picture is clear.

National Conference is the winner in Kashmir*. Omar Abdullah to be the Chief Minister.
* Note Jammu & Kashmir now is a Union territory and not a full-fledged state.
That means the Governor of the territory, Manoj Sinha, has the final authority.
BJP wins Haryana for the third time. Naib Singh Saini to remain as the Chief Minister.

Looks like JKNC won Kashmir and BJP won Jammu.
i.e. the Muslim party won the Muslim region and the Hindu party won the Hindu region.

Why on Earth would anyone draw a political boundary through and around two regions which have clear cultural and political diff--...of course it was the fucking British.
