Columbia University is colluding with the far-right in its attack on students

Perhaps you have your own meaning for genocide. I don't think that 2% of a population, which is being used as human shields, remotely qualifies. It is insanity, I'll agree. Too bad Gazans chose insanity over peace and prosperity. Tom

Columbia University is colluding with the far-right in its attack on students

No mistake. Hamas was doing it long before October 7. Tom

Columbia University is colluding with the far-right in its attack on students

It's happening right now. Much of the threat is pulverized and with less than 40K Gazan casualties. Given Hamas' use of human shields, I think IDF is doing pretty well. That's nothing like genocidal vengeance or any of the nonsensical assertions commonly made. Tom

Columbia University is colluding with the far-right in its attack on students

I just did. You changed LP post and then referred to Hamas' use of embedding military installations amongst civilians as "a rational response to an existential threat". Tom

Merged Gaza just launched an unprovoked attack on Israel

One thing I realized a long time ago. For most information Wikipedia is an invaluable source. Hot button issues it is not. Tom

    Gender Roles

That doesn't make as much sense to me as the US norm of leaving about a foot of space "(.3 metres for the measurements impaired) between the bottom of the stall and the floor. Not only is it easier to mop the floor, but if you are looking for someone you know well enough to recognize their...

    Historical Jesus

I read an interesting article many years ago. Some scholars discussing the likely intended audience of the 4 Gospels (Acts was treated as part of Luke), the Epistles, and Revelation. My vague recollection is that Matthew was written for the most traditional Jewish audience. Tom

Columbia University is colluding with the far-right in its attack on students

I don't know either. But if some rando sprayed me like that I would not care what it was, I'd consider it assault. Tom

Columbia University is colluding with the far-right in its attack on students

Yes I do. Which has a lot to do with dismissing claims about genocide. What Israel can do is pound the Gazan military installations so hard that the rebuilding process takes more years to get done. Which is really the goal. Possibly long enough for Muslim neighbors to get over the idea that...

Columbia University is colluding with the far-right in its attack on students

Can we at least agree that it was an assault, if only a minor one? That we are not just talking about some frat guys pranking one another? Tom

Columbia University is colluding with the far-right in its attack on students

It's not just the October 7 attack itself. All the resources that were redirected to the military installations came from resources that could have helped improve the situation for Gazans as a whole. And I find it impossible to believe that wasn't known to most Gazans. Tom

Columbia University is colluding with the far-right in its attack on students

Name one who was neither target of Hamas or a human shield for Hamas. And no, frankly, Hamas has managed to blur that line as well by employing child warriors. Tom

Columbia University is colluding with the far-right in its attack on students

Nope. More like Hamas lead Gaza is to dangerous to leave with the military capacity to resume the violence. Tom

Columbia University is colluding with the far-right in its attack on students

Honestly dude, I didn't understand that either. It looked more like a whopping big hyperbole, to be charitable. I get what you're saying now, but I didn't then. Tom

Merged Gaza just launched an unprovoked attack on Israel

I kinda figured as much. But Swammi explained that it's one of those international organizations that don't do much but pay bureaucrats to clutch pearls. Tom
  16. T

Columbia University is colluding with the far-right in its attack on students

Nope. I don't think Israel is capable of a genocide. They could ramp up defense efforts, though. It is not anti-Semitic to want peace. I don't think that leaving Hamas in place, or the capability of launching another big terrorist attack, is conducive to peace for anyone. Tom

Columbia University is colluding with the far-right in its attack on students

What existential threat was Gaza facing during the build up to and launching of the October 7 terrorist attack? Tom

Merged Gaza just launched an unprovoked attack on Israel

Out of idle curiosity, What has the ICC done concerning Hamas and it's international backers? Tom

Hey @laughing dog Wanna see an example of mischaracterizing from someone not me or LP? ? Maybe not. Tom

Merged Gaza just launched an unprovoked attack on Israel

Considering our long history of dreadful behavior, including post WWII, I think that this is a blip on the screen. Invading Iraq was a much bigger deal. Tom
