War Master's Gate
The Tin Drum (Dragging my feet with this.)
That looks interesting, Swammerdami. I hope you're not serious that people criticise you on the basis of broad taste in reading. Anyone who's ever been anywhere near a Christian country is justified in being curious...
Lazy.
Lazy, lazy, lazy.
Roasted a chicken but didn't have the energy to make proper stuffing and stuff the bird. Also too lazy to cut up an onion. Or bacon.
Sprinkled some rolled oats and mixed herbs in the pan with the bird and walked away.
Ate those rolled oats out of a bowl, with bits...
Q. How many historians does it take to change a light bulb?
A. There is a great deal of debate on this issue. Up until the mid-20th century, the accepted answer was 'one': and this Whiggish narrative underpinned a number of works that celebrated electrification and the march of progress in...
My guess is he was modelled on a crib Jesus and then stood upright.
It wouldn't have killed them to give him some headroom.
That's an image that will stay with me for a while.
Strangerland.
There was potential for this to be a good film. Nicole Kidman works her butt off, (I think I may have underestimated her as an actress), as do Ralph Fiennes and Hugo Weaving.

2. There is a note on one DVD about "content not previously seen in Aus." which explains the whiplash I experienced watching it...

Daleks, after changing into something more comfortable.
Something weird is happening with the "quotes" .
God only knows what sort of a dog's breakfast will emerge when it resolves, given the multiple tries I made, above.
