The evidence suggests clearly that life DID arise spontaneously on Earth. Perhaps seeded from comets, et al, Because that is the nature of organic chemistry. And perhaps did so so many times before in prior universes.
They most certainly do not all believe in the same thing. They have myriad different beliefs, and have fought many wars and argued incessantly with each other over their differences in belief.

To put one issue raised here to rest, the matter/atoms of which the earth is composed is no older than the matter of which the sun is composed. Both are composed of elementary particles which have existed since the Big Bang. But the sun formed first
So God is an ancient space alien? Such as Olaf Stapleton's Star maker? Some have suggested it may someday be possible to create entire universes in a lab. I'm not certain how much control those who propose that idea think that the makers of those universes would have over their creations, :)
