A Christian stole and crashed a plane, therefore let's punish Muslims

So therefore it makes sense to punish Muslims for something a Christian did?
Well, yea, if you use Creationist logic.

THE GOAL is to punish Muslims. Because they're Muslims.
Therefore any excuse to punish Muslims is acceptable as it leads directly to justifying the goal.

You're trying to see it as cause then effect.

It's more of a multiple choice sort of thing.

Today we are punishing Muslims for:
[_] 9/11
[_] The Crusades
[_] Their rejection of Christ
[_] Something I saw on TV
[_] Something Trump says he saw on TV that one time, for sure, it really happened
[_] Something Nazis did to people
[_] Darwinism
[_] Something happened at an airport, 1 life and 1 jet lost, which is JUST LIKE 9/11
[_] Tuesday
[_] Free spin
[_] Answer unclear, try again
[_] Hollywood

Actually, it makes sense in a way.

It's not about punishing Muslims because of the action of a Christian, but that this brought to attention what has been known but not thought about much before--the main deterrent to someone making off with a plane for nefarious purposes has been a lack of training. While ground crews don't have pilot training they do have training on the controls so they can move the planes around. A suicide attacker doesn't care about the landing, taking off and keeping the bird in the air isn't that hard. (There are plenty of businesses around that put people at the controls of a real plane with only minutes of verbal instruction--but of course with a real pilot there to take over in case things get out of hand, and to land the plane afterwards.)

Thus this made them realize it would be easy for ground crew to launch a suicide attack with a stolen plane.

What they didn't realize is the lack of such attacks says the crews aren't a problem.

It's amazing how easily you can rationalize the unacceptable.

No, it doesn't. Let's look at the first line in the tweet from the American Family Assholes:

Might be a good idea to keep Muslims from serving on ground crews.

This incident highlighted a security flaw, but it has absolutely nothing to do with the religion of the person who carried out this act. Keeping Muslims from serving on ground crews based on their religion is unlawful discrimination, period. The fact that you think it in any way makes sense to do so demonstrates simple bigotry on your part, just as it does with the American Family Asshole guy.

I don't find this surprising. Another forum I frequent (TWeb) is mostly full of conservative Christians. They have gone all out since Trump- even the 'voted against Hillary not for Trump' posters will never come out against any of the bullshit.

Anyways, there's this thread on New Mexico Camp for School Shooters: Man arrested at 'extremist Muslim' New Mexico compound was training kids to commit school shootings

The 3rd post claims that the recent increase in school shootings now makes sense:

Trumper said:
This isn't surprising considering the sharp increase in school shootings over the past few years. Liberals want to blame the guns, of course, but something has to be compelling all these kids to pull the trigger.

Do note that the 'moderates' do not call him out on this.

^Yup!!! Underseer, I said nothing about it making sense. I said Fischer is a serious whack job; who also happens to claim to be (or is) a Creationist. Your an atheist; I'm an atheist; Stalin was an atheist; should I assume something more about you/I because of this....?

You apparently didn't read the last line of my post even though you quoted it.
